This picture was taken just outside Caney, KS on our way from Bartlesville, OK. We spent the night in Bartlesville after driving clean through Tulsa on 75 without seeing a single hotel. The first day of driving was long, but worth it for how far we made it. Unfortunately, we hit a record amount of road construction during our travels through Texas and Oklahoma. That slowed us down some, but overall we made pretty good time.
